Derek has experience with general orthopedics with specific mentoring experience for Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD), Parkinson’s Disease (PD), Lymphedema management, and Hand Therapy. He aspires to earn Orthopedic Clinical Specialty (OCS) and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) certifications in the next few years. He enjoys working with wide range of patients, with specific interest in geriatric population.

Derek enjoys swimming, music (singing, playing instruments, amateur music production), woodworking, writing, reading, film/cinema, outdoor adventures with wife and dog, any athletic or fitness related activity, and board games and video games.
